The COVID-19 pandemic has led to higher consumption of single-use plastics both worldwide and in Slovenia. Even though Slovenians are considered to be an aware nation in the field of waste separation and management, the use of protective masks, the increased number of online purchases and ordering food at home have put us in front of a new test in waste management to the environment.
